Job Title: Junior – Mid-level Graphic Designer - Food Packaging

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of effective packaging designs. Open to part-time availability (will likely turn into a full-time position).


Job Description: We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a full or part-time basis. Ideal candidates should have a strong portfolio in packaging, digital/print media, and a passion for innovative design. We prefer candidates who can work onsite, but we are open to a hybrid arrangement for the right applicant.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize and design packaging solutions for a variety of food products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and client requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales product development, and production, to understand project objectives and deliver designs that meet business goals.
  3. Create visually appealing and consumer-friendly packaging designs that enhance product visibility on shelves and communicate key brand messages.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and packaging innovations to bring fresh and creative ideas to the design process.
  5. Work closely with printing and production teams to ensure the feasibility and quality of the final packaging output.
  6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of design excellence.
  7. Provide input and support in the selection of materials, finishes, and printing techniques to optimize the overall packaging design.
  8. Revise and refine designs based on feedback from internal teams and clients, ensuring continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design projects.
  3. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  4. Understanding of print production processes and the ability to create print-ready files.
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  6. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs.
  8. Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly packaging practices is a plus.
