Shipping & Receiving ClerkSurestaff is immediately hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a large, well-known client in Carol Stream, IL. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)Quality AssuranceInventory Control (RF Scanners)Surestaff is invested in their team members All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st Shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:Prepare Packing Lists: Create and verify packing lists for all outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.Receive Goods: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Report any discrepancies or damages.Receive Raw Materials: Record raw material receipts in the system, label, and store materials in designated locations.Issue Material to Jobs: Accurately pull and issue raw materials and components to production jobs as requested.Required Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:High school diploma or equivalent.12 years of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.Basic computer and ERP system skills (Epicor experience a plus).Operate material-handling equipment safely.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.About SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
