Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform auditing tasks related to cage operations, W2G forms, GPI, and Jackpot/Fill slips in accordance with Colorado Limited Gaming Act guidelines.
  • Review and verify cage and Jackpot/Fill slips accurately and within designated timelines.
  • Monitor adherence to policies and procedures for documenting cage transactions and reviewing Jackpot/Fill slips to ensure compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain familiarity with House Policies, Procedures, and Colorado Division of Gaming Rules and Regulations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols and using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Identify and report unsafe practices or conditions to supervisors promptly.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and adhere to established security protocols.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory officials and private auditing firms during internal audits.
  • Stay updated on auditing procedures outlined in manuals, ICMP, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • Communicate audit activities to department managers and assist in developing new procedures as needed.
  • Stay informed about departmental updates impacting slot auditing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in performing audit functions or willingness to learn audit policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Possession of a valid State of Colorado Gaming License (To be obtained upon hire and will be reimbursed).

  • Minimum age requirement of eighteen years.
