Key Responsibilities

  1. Security Management: Develop and manage security best practices; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. System Development and Maintenance: Develop and install cloud and cybersecurity systems; assist with IT projects like system upgrades and migrations.
  3. Incident Response: Respond to and resolve system and network incidents; manage system backups and data integrity.
  4. Active Directory Management: Manage and maintain user accounts, group policies, and system security.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Ensure server performance, availability, and reliability; monitor and maintain system security.
  6. Documentation: Prepare and maintain system and cybersecurity documentation; educate IT staff on policies and security.
  7. Collaboration: Work with IT team members and stakeholders; manage virtualization and cloud services.
  8. Risk Management: Develop risk analysis and security reporting; evaluate cybersecurity tools and infrastructure.

Requirements

  1. Experience:
  • 4+ years in IT and security work with systems analysis.
  • 4+ years in information technology security.
  • 4+ years with firewall policies and implementation.
  • 2+ years in cloud computing and security.
  1. Knowledge:
  • Security issues and techniques across computer platforms.
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE framework.
  1. Certification:
  • CJIS certification (or ability to obtain).

Education

  1. Degree: Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Substitution: Relevant experience or additional education may substitute for degree requirements.
