Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a lead or senior technical role. Proven experience with AWS Big Data services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, and AWS Lambda. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Extensive experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Solid understanding of distributed computing and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty certification. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of machine learning and data science principles. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
