Job Description


We are seeking a talented and passionate iOS Developer to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As an early-stage startup preparing to join an accelerator in a few weeks, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of our founding team and shape the future of our company from the ground up. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility for remote work. As an iOS Developer at ARgrid, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art mobile applications for iOS platforms, with a strong focus on creating innovative and engaging AR experiences for our users.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift.
  • Design and implement AR experiences using ARKit and RealityKit.
  • Utilize 3D modeling tools such as Blender to create and integrate 3D assets into AR applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AR and mobile development.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
  • Proficiency with ARKit and RealityKit for developing augmented reality applications on iOS.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and asset creation using tools such as Blender.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other AR/VR platforms and technologies.
  • Familiarity with other 3D modeling tools or game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of graphics programming and shader development.
