Job Title: Outside Services Supervisor

Job Overview:

The Outside Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of outside services at the golf course. This role includes managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining equipment, and facilitating a positive experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management:
    • Supervise and train outside services staff, including golf cart attendants and range staff.
    • Schedule shifts and manage staff performance, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
    • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of golf carts, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
    • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of practice areas, including driving ranges and putting greens.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Monitor and maintain outside services equipment, including carts, range balls, and other tools.
    • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe environment for staff and guests.
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the golf operations and pro shop staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Assist in organizing special events, tournaments, and outings.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in golf course operations or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle customer service issues effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of golf operations and etiquette is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g., golf bags, equipment).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
Working Conditions:

The Outside Services Supervisor typically works outdoors, interacting with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in schedule is required, as hours may vary based on the golf course's operational needs.
