Responsibilities

The Building Services Engineer position will be located in the East Valley. The position encompasses a wide range of duties. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing hands on service and repairs as well as guidance to Associates/Vendors in the maintenance, repair, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, operation, and general upkeep of property. Engineer will also be involved with formulation of building budget; respond to tenant requests; perform preventative maintenance on building systems and components; perform service, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems and components; assist requested; work order management; complete all required paperwork; understand and comply with the Plaza Companies, Services Safety Policies and comply with EPA guidelines on refrigerant use and handling. Works on-call schedule as required and carry cell phone and respond to after hour emergencies. Good communication skills and diplomacy are essential


Qualifications

3-year hands-on maintenance experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems required. Past experience working independently with little or no supervision preferred.
