Summary:

Working with the , you'll be developing and managing technical content for electron microscope systems and applications for semiconductor customer business needs. Develop, communicate, and manage content plans for new product releases.

Work with internal business partners to gather information and synthesize source material.

Architect customer-facing content appropriate to specific purposes and audiences.

Prepare and publish software user guides and help systems on a quarterly and periodic basis.


Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • 10+ years of technical writing experience.
  • Background in electron microscopy, semiconductor, or related scientific field.
  • Solid experience working within Agile software development environments and understanding how different business groups fit together.
  • Advanced knowledge of structured authoring and single-sourcing, particularly using the MadCap software suite and other XML-based authoring tools.
  • Thorough experience with GitLab, Jira, HTML, CSS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Successful project work in cross-functional and cross-cultural international work teams.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.


Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with developer documentation and API documentation.
  • Proficiency in planning and building API reference output using tools like Swagger, and crafting comprehensive developer guides with code samples.
  • Ability to read software code as source material.
  • Experience in an IT software development environment.
  • Experience with MDX (Markdown with React components).
  • Familiarity with React or other similar web development frameworks
  • Ability to identify process gaps and advise the team management on quality and efficiency.
  • Experience collaborating with documentation teams in other verticals to build consensus and best practices.


Education

BS/BA in a writing- or science-related field, or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
