Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all accounts payable activities for the Plastics Division, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in every transaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving, and comfortable collaborating across departments to drive solutions and improvements.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process for the Plastics Division.Monitor and respond to all accounts payable email communications in a timely and professional manner.Troubleshoot and resolve vendor and payment issues, escalating as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies.Present findings, solutions, and process improvement recommendations to management.Maintain a high standard of accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in all AP functions.Assist with month-end close activities related to AP, including reconciliations and reporting.Support audits by preparing necessary AP documentation and reports.Continuously review processes for efficiency gains and compliance with company policies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).Minimum 3+ years of accounts payable experience.Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with NetSuite or IQMS is a plus.Solid understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.Confident in communicating with Division President and other management personnel on issues. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.
