Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth process assessments within the accounting, finance, and financial systems domains to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies and initiatives specifically related to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial systems utilization.
  • Document current and future state processes within the accounting, finance, and financial systems domains using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and build consensus on process improvements related to accounting, finance, and financial systems.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for process improvement initiatives within the accounting, finance, and financial systems domains.
  • Leverage Smartsheet to effectively manage projects and track progress related to accounting, finance, and financial systems process improvements.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful implementation of process improvements within the accounting, finance, and financial systems domains.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement within the accounting, finance, and financial systems domains.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial systems (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
