Under the direction of the Total Rewards Manager, the Total Rewards Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day and project-related work associated with ETE benefits & compensation programs including leave administration, perks & programs, benefits & compensation plans, new hire benefit enrollment and support of health and wellness programs. Additionally, you maintain integrity of employee data in the HRIS system as well as employment files.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Compensation

  • Assist with compensation project to develop compensation guidelines, grades, structure and levels
  • Assist in finalizing & storing job descriptions & maintain grades and comp structure
  • Create promotion, transfer offer letters
  • Assist with annual merit process


Benefits

  • Coordinate onsite wellness activities such as flu shots & biometric screenings, fitness center discounts
  • Complete benefit onboarding for all newly eligible employees after appropriate waiting period; ensure timely offering and enter enrollments into HRIS/vendor system
  • Work with employees on mid-year enrollment changes and qualifying life events
  • Ensure eligibility information is provided to benefit providers where no electronic integration is available (e.g., 401k, life/disability)
  • Assist Total Rewards Manager with annual Open Enrollment planning, communication and execution (benefit material, mailings, meetings, kiosk/UKG assistance)
  • Assist Total Rewards Manager with creation, distribution and communication of Total Rewards Statements, bonus letters and merit statements.
  • Audit benefit enrollment against vendor billing
  • Coordinate and complete required mailings related to benefit compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees; respond to questions, issues and concerns timely and escalate when appropriate.
  • Administer and communicate perks & other employee programs
  • Leave administration; ensure leave eligibility, provide necessary paperwork and required notifications, ensure appropriate return to work and review & monitor restrictions.
  • Administer COBRA


General

  • Act as a main contact for general employee and manager questions and feedback; ensure timely responses and escalate to appropriate team members as needed.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to ensure appropriate employee communications related to benefits are developed and distributed
  • Supports Total Rewards Manager and HR team on projects and other duties as needed.



Qualifications:


  • 1-2 years of related experience in human resources
  • Experience in the navigation of HRIS and other related systems
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws that impact total rewards
  • Strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, attention to detail, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates solid execution and project management skills. Has the ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment that is subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic learner who is passionate about staying current with emerging benefits and compensation trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
