Youth Soccer Coach/Instructor (Part-Time)We are hiring part-time passionate, engaging coaches who are committed to impacting San Antonio youth through soccer.Benefits include:$20-$30/hour after completing paid training period (training paid at $15/hour)Part-time flexible scheduleLocations available around the greater San Antonio area: San Antonio, Boerne, Schertz, Cibolo, and New BraunfelsLeadership trainingCommunicative, supportive team centered on a culture of fun and excellenceFulfilling opportunity positively impacting children through soccerIdeal candidates are:Enthusiastic and funPatient and adaptableProfessional and punctualCollaborative and communicativeConfident and excited to work with children (can safely manage class of up to 12 children)Soccer/sports enthusiastsPosition details:Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes ("sessions") on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater San Antonio area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on one's availability and location. Coaches must be able to commit to an entire season schedule with priority given to those who are available at least three half-days out of the week (or a minimum of eight hours a week).Hours:Morning shift times generally run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Afternoon shift times generally run from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Midday shift times are also available depending on the site (11:30-2:30 p.m.). Session times may vary depending on enrollment.Minimum qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageReliable transportation and a valid driver's licensePass an FBI criminal background checkFully authorized to work in the US without restrictionCurrently live in the greater San Antonio metropolitan areaCurrently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certifiedCoaching or childhood education experience preferredSpanish proficiency/fluency is a plusOur mission:Soccer Shots is a youth soccer organization with a focus on building character through weekly soccer sessions.
