They are experts in all things building envelope—whether it's roofs, walls, windows, or waterproofing. They handle repairs, restorations, and maintenance for properties old and new, working closely with owners, engineers, and property managers to keep buildings in top shape.
As a Construction Project Manager focused on restoration, you'll oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on budget, on time, and meet client expectations. You'll lead a team to restore properties while adhering to historical preservation standards.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, coordinate with architects and engineers, and manage the restoration process from assessment to completion.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and handle contracts and procurement.
- Timeline Management: Maintain project schedules, address delays, and keep all phases on track.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the main contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets building codes, preservation standards, and safety regulations, conducting site inspections as needed.
PREREQUISITES
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in restoration.
- Knowledge of historic preservation practices.
- Proficiency in project management software i.e. MS Project, Procure, P6, etc.
