ETL Data Engineer with Snowflake/Python/SQL - Hybrid model (2-3 days per week)

Snowflake and Python are the primary skillsets.


• We are looking for someone that is proficient in Snowflake, SQL, and Python.

• Ideally someone with years of ETL experience (minimum 3+ years) who understands high level business functions and applying that to a streamlined automated process to keep data up to date and available for consumption within Snowflake.


Job Description:

• 5+ years ETL development and understanding of data engineering concepts.

• 3+ years using Snowflake as part of the ELT deployment.

• Develop and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources into Snowflake.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.

• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning, clustering, and partitioning strategies.

• 2+ years using Python for data engineering, and automations.

• 3 + years in the financial services industry.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Option Skills:

• 3 + years R scripting (optional).

• 3 + years R visualizations (optional)

• Experience with data integration tools such as SSIS, SSAS is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for data pipelines.

• Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core) is preferred.
