Akkodis is seeking a Graphic Design -Packaging for a Contract position with a client located in Pawtucket, RI.

Rate Range: $25-$30/hr on W2 without benefits, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Position Summary:

We have an opening for a Graphic Designer (Packaging) on our Play-Doh team for a 6-month temporary assignment. Under the direction of the Design Packaging Lead, you will contribute to the overall creation and implementation of package designs that translate the Play-Doh line look, messaging, and products.

A day in the life of a Graphic Designer, Packaging – Play Doh:

• Conceptualize and execute toy packaging concepts which include line looks, logos, basic structural studies, etc. using standard industry computer graphics software
• Collaborate with full brand creative team along with cross-functional team members to effectively sell products and showcase key features both on packaging and ecommerce assets
• Drive and art direct photoshoot for packaging and ecomm asset
• Participate and contribute to brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgement in developing and applying marketplace trends (e.g. competitive graphics, styles, fashion, lifestyles, etc.)
• Utilize internal resources and time management skills to independently manage projects and achieve individual project milestones and provide support for presentation, trade show and other packaging comp needs
