Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Reporting Relationship: Mark Connett, Chief Execuitve Officer


Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our fast-growing healthcare technology company. As the COO, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our strategic vision, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the success and growth of our organization.


Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Develop and implement the company's strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with the overall business objectives.

·      Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential risks to ensure the company stays ahead in the industry.

·      Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set strategic goals and prioritize initiatives.

·      Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to operational standards.

·      Streamline operational processes, workflows, and systems to maximize efficiency and productivity.

·      Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to optimize operational performance.

·      Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance excellence.

·      Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their objectives.

·      Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and succession planning.

·      Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.

·      Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.

·      Stay updated on healthcare regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

·      Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

·      Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management processes.

·      Foster strong relationships with key vendors, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of communication.

·      Act as a customer advocate, providing insights and feedback to improve product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

·      Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a similar senior leadership role within the healthcare industry.

·      Strong understanding of the SaaS model and experience in healthcare technology solutions.

·      Excellent strategic planning and business development skills.

·      Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving performance and achieving results.

·      Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.

·      In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

·      Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Key Performance Indicators:

·      Operational Efficiency as measured by Revenue per Employee (RPE)

·      Overall Customer Satisfaction 

·      Ratio of programs submitted to programs accepted

·      Average time to contact NEW patient less than 2 hours

·      Total number of calls

·      # of calls missed

·      # of variances

·      # of NEW’s submitted per day

·      Overall Reduction in Costs
