Epicor Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Epicor Developer to join our team. As an Epicor Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining customizations, integrations, and enhancements within the Epicor ERP system to meet the needs of our organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize BAQs (Business Activity Queries), BPMs (Business Process Management), dashboards, reports, and other components within the Epicor ERP system.
• Design and implement integrations between Epicor and other systems using RESTful APIs, service connectors, and other integration tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of customizations and enhancements.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to Epicor development and customization.
• Stay updated on the latest Epicor technologies, features, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and usability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 years of experience as an Epicor Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Epicor ERP system architecture, data structures, and functionalities.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, SQL, and familiarity with Epicor development tools (Epicor Developer Studio, Customization Wizard, etc.).
• Experience with Epicor version Kinetic, and knowledge of its modules (MRP, Quick Ship, Customer Relationship, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with customizations/personalizations, BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and SSRS reports within Epicor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epicor certification(s) or relevant training courses.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic and/or cloud-based ERP systems.
• Knowledge of industry-specific processes and requirements (manufacturing, distribution, etc.).
• Experience with data migration, system upgrades, and performance tuning within Epicor.
