Our work directly impacts lives, strengthens families, and supports healthier communities.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Community Outreach & Referral Specialist to drive growth and expand our impact throughout the Kansas City area. This is a high-visibility, relationship-focused role for a motivated sales professional who wants their work to truly matter.You will own the full business development processbuilding referral relationships, educating the community on the value of aging at home, and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. If you thrive on relationship-based selling, autonomy, and purpose-driven work, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and grow a strong pipeline of new business through referral partners, networking, and community engagementEducate referral sources and families on the benefits of in-home care and Caring Senior Service's unique approachManage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, following up, and closingDevelop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physician offices, assisted living facilities, senior centers, veteran organizations, and other community partnersRepresent Caring Senior Service at local events and professional meetings as a trusted resource for senior careConsistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals while accurately tracking activity in CRM systemsCollaborate closely with the local office team to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional client experienceQualificationsProven success in sales, business development, or relationship-based closing rolesExperience in healthcare, senior care, home care, or related services strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goalsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently in the fieldKnowledge of the Kansas City healthcare or senior services market is a plusValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredWhat We OfferSalary: $45,000-$50,000 / annuallyOngoing sales training, coaching, and professional developmentAutonomy and ownership over your territory and resultsA supportive, mission-driven culture where your work directly improves livesThe opportunity to build a long-term career while helping seniors age with dignity at homeHow to ApplySubmit your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your sales achievements and your passion for helping seniors remain independent at home.
