Schedule: (9/80) Every other Friday offJob Description: The Program Management Excellence (PMX) team within the Maritime Sector is looking to fill a Functional Lead role. The successful candidate should be an experienced Program Manager and/or Finance Manager who is well-versed in People, Process, and Tools best practices within the Aerospace & Defense industry. The successful candidate will serve as the enabler for Finance execution across all programs in the sector. The candidate must be able to lead cross-functionally with the other members of the Maritime PMX staff, Finance functional partners and the sector's IPTs to drive predictable program performance.Essential Functions:Drive predictable performance across all sector programs for the Finance functionPartner with programs and Finance function to ensure executable baseline plan (cost and schedule)Drive program baseline planning for the Finance functionManage training for the program financePartner with program and Finance function to ensure IPT lead / CAM excellencePartner with Finance to drive robust EVMS within programsServe as advocate for Finance functional initiatives within sector programsSupport Gate and Independent Reviews for the sectorSupport program R&O managementSupport programs with EAC/ETC development, review, and approvalSupport various Sector and Division reviewsEnsure appropriate Finance staffing for program proposals, baseline activities, and executionEnforce Finance policy and process requirements within programsSupport continuous improvement projectsCoordinates support of internal and customer auditsCoordinates and adjudicates PMX support prioritiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience or post-graduate degree and 10 years of experience or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experienceAbility to obtain Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance10+ years of prior experience in Aerospace & Defense program management, Finance management and EVMSDemonstrated ability to present to executives/management on important topicsDemonstrated ability to work independently, identify problems and propose solutionsDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, across geographically-dispersed teamsAbility to Travel at least 15%Preferred Additional Skills:Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret ClearancePrior experience managing Profit & Loss (P&L)Prior experience managing direct reportsPrior experience providing instructional training to program team(s)Ability to Travel - up to 50%
