Risk Governance Lead Lending PlatformsThe Risk Governance Lead Lending Platforms is responsible for protecting the security, integrity, and operational efficiency of commercial lending platformsincluding loan origination and risk grading systemsthrough the proactive identification and mitigation of operational and security risks. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our systems, processes, and data control align with regulatory requirements, enterprise standards, and industry best practices.The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of risk management, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance with experience in commercial lending operations and technology platforms.Key Responsibilities:Create a risk governance framework specific to commercial lending platforms, including operational, regulatory, and data risksEstablish policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with banking regulations and enterprise compliance requirementsConduct regular (e.g., quarterly or as needed) system risk assessments across key platforms to identify potential threats and vulnerabilitiesPartner with Enterprise Technology and Information Security teams to ensure data security and access protocols align with current best practices and regulatory frameworksLead the timely completion and documentation of control verification, certification, and risk reporting processesContinuously refine control processes and supporting documentation, collaborating closely with Compliance and Reporting teamsReview system access requests to ensure appropriatenessConduct regular audits of system users to verify proper provisioning and deprovisioning processesCollaborate with the access technology team to design, test, and implement enhanced access provisioningWork with compliance and audit teams to ensure all procedures and controls are documented and updated appropriatelyRegularly audit authority limits to ensure proper alignment with credit policyDesign and implement system and user activity monitoring framework to identify anomalies or potential gapsGenerate reports detailing risk assessments, access incidents, and compliance statusProvide actionable insights based on data analysis to enhance security measures and risk management policiesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of experience in risk management, information security, or access controlsideally within the banking or financial services sectorExperience designing risk frameworks or governance for technology systemsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions), Word, and PowerPointStrong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency in PowerBI and SQL for data analysis and reportingExperience with Salesforce and/or nCino platformsFamiliarity with Moody's CreditLens systemRelevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP) are a plusFirst Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities, and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
