Material Control Specialist IWe are seeking a dedicated Material Control Specialist I to join our team. This role involves managing and processing cargo, receiving shipments, and ensuring efficient operations within a warehouse setting.Responsibilities:Process cargo and receive shipments.Unload inventory from trucks and stock items.Operate a sit-down forklift, both indoors and outdoors, to transport freight and materials to designated areas.Assist with crane operations in the yard, including loading containers and blocking/bracing materials.Lift materials to load flat racks and containers.Essential Skills:Experience in warehouse operations and forklift driving.Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Familiarity with crane operations is a plus.Must have naval base access.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team where your skills in material handling and warehouse operations are valued. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of PORT HUENEME CBC BASE, CA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
