Material Control Specialist IWe are seeking a dedicated Material Control Specialist I to join our team. This role involves managing and processing cargo, receiving shipments, and ensuring efficient operations within a warehouse setting.ResponsibilitiesProcess cargo and receive shipments.Unload inventory from trucks and stock items.Operate a sit-down forklift, both indoors and outdoors, to transport freight and materials to designated areas.Assist with crane operations in the yard, including loading containers and blocking/bracing materials.Lift materials to load flat racks and containers.Essential SkillsExperience in warehouse operations and forklift driving.Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with crane operations is a plus.Must have naval base access.Why Work Here?Join a supportive team where your skills in material handling and warehouse operations are valued.
