Junior Sales Representative


Overview: The Junior Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the sales team to achieve company sales targets and grow customer relationships. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who is starting their career in sales and is eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and growing relationships with retail accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Generate leads through cold calling and thorough market research to identify potential customers and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to assist in creating and implementing in-store promotions and other sales initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to contribute to strategy adjustments.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management, utilizing data to inform decisions and strategy adjustments.


Internal and External Interactions:

  • Externally, the role involves regular interaction with retail account representatives, store managers, and other stakeholders to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Internally, the role will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. Additionally, interaction with the Customer Service and Logistics departments is crucial to ensure client needs are met with the highest standards of service.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in sales or a related field, preferably with retail accounts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively supporting sales discussions and partnerships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools, with strong analytical skills to interpret market data and financial information.
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented, with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
