Software Engineer

Our client, a leading technology innovator in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development of cutting-edge modem firmware and next-generation features. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for technological advancement, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Boise, ID Pay Range: $30 What's the Job? Design and develop 5G and next-generation firmware features for embedded systems. Build scalable embedded firmware, stack, and NCOS drivers to support multi-modem hardware integration. Collaborate with hardware teams to perform modem bring-up and ensure optimal modem functionality. Develop and improve testing tools to support firmware debugging and stability. Assist during critical issues related to modem software integrations to help stabilize and enhance system performance. What's Needed? BS/MS in computer science or equivalent qualifications. Over 2 years of experience in embedded Linux firmware development, including device drivers and features. Proficiency in C/C++ programming with knowledge of OS concepts, RTOS, and multiprocessor communication. Strong firmware, system debugging, and analytical skills.
