Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a growing Knoxville team. This fully onsite role is perfect for someone who enjoys heads-down AP work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for long-term stability through a contract-to-hire path.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle AP, including PO and non-PO invoicesPerform 3-way match and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departmentsManage vendor communications and maintain accurate vendor filesPrepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliationsReconcile vendor statements and maintain updated AP agingAssist with month-end close: accruals, reconciliations, and journal entry supportEnsure compliance with company purchasing and AP guidelinesCollaborate with internal teams including purchasing, receiving, and accountingRequired Qualifications1+ year of Accounts Payable experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience with AP software / ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Excel and OutlookAbility to work fully onsite MondayFridayExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsHigh-volume AP processing experienceFamiliarity with 3-way match environmentsExperience supporting audits or month-end close processesSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, 40 hours/week100% onsite in Knoxville, TNContract-to-hire with strong potential for long-term employmentWhy This RoleYou'll join a supportive team, make an immediate impact, and have clear visibility into long-term growth opportunities.Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour Search managed by: Mackenzie Bastow Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
