Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

To do so, they are looking to bring aboard a QA Automation Engineer who has built testing for .NET applications and has a strong appreciation for the principles behind BDD and POM.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C#, SpecFlow, and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Implement and execute BDD scenarios using Gherkin syntax within SpecFlow.
  • Design and implement Page Object Models (POM) for scalable test automation framework.
  • Drive further adoption of TDD/BDD and Agile principles


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in automated testing using C#, SpecFlow, and Selenium WebDriver.
  • 5+ years of overall testing and test automation experience
  • Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience writing Gherkin scenarios.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining the Page Object Model (POM) for test automation.


This is a full time role with our client, requiring 3 days per week in office and an onsite interview. For that reason, we will only be considering candidates who are currently located in the Greater Chicago area.
