Unit ControllerAramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Unit Controller position at Children's National Hospital, located in Washington D.C. As a Unit Controller, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial and operating reports, conducting and documenting financial analysis projects. The Unit Controller will work directly with the lead operator at the account and enforce procedures that maximize profit by ensuring operational targets, internal control of inventories, cash, and equipment.COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable law, including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the California Fair Chance Act, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance to the extent that those laws apply to the opportunity.Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:To carry out daily credit control procedures ensuring overdue debts and bad debts are kept to a minimumAccurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company's credit control policies and procedures are adhered toMeet all targets set out by the Company PlanProcessing and resolving of daily customer accounts queries and issues e.g. copying invoices/statementsCollaborate closely with relevant departments regarding credit control activitiesPost & allocate receipts accurately and in a timely mannerBalancing of all accounts on a monthly basisMaintain all files and documentation to a high standardPrepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analysis of outstanding debts and report any issues to AR Manager as needed.Responsible for ongoing evaluation and enforcement of policies and procedures with regard to Credit Control DepartmentAdvance unresolved issuesAny ad hoc duties that may ariseNote: Due to the nature of the business additional duties may be assigned from time to time.QualificationsTechnical Knowledge and key attributes:3 5 years' experience in service industry combined with a system driven approach to credit controlHave very good knowledge of Excel (crucial)Have experience of working with Oracle System this would be an advantagePossess relevant or related financial qualificationHave good interpersonal and communication skillsAre self-motivatedHave excellent phone manner (crucial)About AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
