PROGRAM ANALYST

Job Leadership PositionThe primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership direction and input in formulating, organizational, manpower, personnel, financial, and safety policies for all group mission areas and directing the activities of the group staff. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and managing the activities of the 57th Operations Group and providing legal and regulatory requirements to meet customer needs. Represents the 57th Operations Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Provides management and leadership in the development of the 57th Operations Group. Serves as the group focal point for joint operational integration.Requirements include meeting the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions. Specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems is required. Knowledge of management methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes is necessary. Military aviation background is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, advocate, and/or advise on processes, actions, and decisions impacting the Wing mission is essential.
