Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative for our steel wire company, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in your assigned territory. You will promote our range of steel wire products and services to various industries, including wire formers, construction, manufacturing, and agriculture.


Responsibilities:

1.   Prospect and acquire new customers in your designated territory through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

2.   Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

3.   Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate steel wire products and solutions to meet those needs.

4.   Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.

5.   Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential and existing customers.

6.   Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, quality, and production, to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.

7.   Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and potential threats.

8.   Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network with potential customers and promote company products and services.

9.   Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and results using CRM software.

10. Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.



Qualifications:

1.   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

2.   Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the steel wire industry or related field.

3.   Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

4.   Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

5.   Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

6.   Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

7.   Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.

8.   Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
