Key Responsibilities:

  • MODAPS Implementation: Utilize MODAPS (Methods-Time Measurement) to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance quality across the production line.
  • Time and Motion Studies: Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work, improve process flows, and optimize workstations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain capacity plans, ensuring alignment with production schedules and long-term company goals.
  • Layout Design: Design and optimize plant layouts to enhance workflow, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Cost Reduction: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects aimed at process optimization, equipment installation, and new product launches.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and support to production teams on MODAPS and other process improvement tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in MODAPS (Methods-Time Measurement) is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in the use of industrial engineering tools and software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
