You will lead the evolution of business information systems, leveraging emerging technologies and agile methodologies to drive competitive advantage and operational excellence. Your vision will shape the future of our digital landscape, ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and aligned with both current and future business needs.This role is for a visionary leader who drives a fast-paced, transformative environment and is passionate about shaping the future of technology through relentless innovation and improvement.THE DETAILS:Innovation Leadership:Identify and implement breakthrough technologies that enhance business performanceFoster a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping across IT and business teamsCollaborate with executive leadership to position technology as a strategic enablerContinuous Improvement & Agility:Embed Lean and Agile principles to accelerate delivery and maximize valueUse data-driven insights and customer feedback to iterate on systems and processesLead forums and steering committees to surface opportunities for enhancementBusiness Process Transformation:Champion cross-functional process reengineering using digital toolsDevelop high-impact proposals with clear value analysisAlign closely with Lean teams to ensure measurable outcomeReliability & Resilience:Ensure integrity, performance, and security of all business systemsManage upgrades, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity proactivelyEstablish robust policies for data security and user trainingStrategic Technology Investment:Drive investments that balance current needs with future scalabilityEvaluate sourcing options and negotiate favorable contractsOptimize total cost of ownership and minimize riskTalent Development & Culture:Build and lead a high-performing IT organizationPromote a culture of learning, adaptability, and collaborationSet ambitious goals and empower teams to challenge the status quoUse key performance indicators to track progress and implement countermeasures for continuous growthQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in a related field required; MBA preferred10+ years of progressive leadership in information systems, with a track record of driving innovation and managing complex projectsProven success managing diverse teams managers, analysts, programmers and support staffExceptional business acumen and communication skills - effective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical termsDeep understanding of manufacturing technologies and deployment methodologiesCollaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersedCore competencies: Continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment, and relationship-buildingProficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software SAP (preferred)Available for domestic and international travel (up to 20%)At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $240,000 to $260,000. Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
