This role requires strong leadership, extensive hands-on concrete experience, and the ability to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily field operations for concrete projects.Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and crews to achieve project goals.Oversee concrete pours, finishing, and formwork to maintain quality standards.Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.Review blueprints and specifications to guide field operations.Address and resolve on-site challenges (e.g., weather delays, material shortages).Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.Track labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs for budget control.Maintain project administration and documentation.Review subcontract agreements, scopes, exclusions, and schedules.Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.Lead, mentor, and train crew members.Prepare look-ahead schedules, extra work tickets, and daily logs.Manage field labor, schedule subcontractors, materials, and equipment.Review shop drawings and submittals.Monitor crew hours and approve timesheets.Oversee multiple projects concurrently.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years in concrete construction, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of placement, finishing, and formwork systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and structural drawings.Experience managing medium to large-scale concrete projects.Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.Familiar with OSHA safety regulations.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites.PreferredExperience with tilt-up construction.OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certified.Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.Work Environment: Primarily field-based, with occasional office time for meetings.
