OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Superintendent to join our team in Wood River, IL. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for civil engineering and a knack for leadership, we want to hear from you Responsibilities Manage and supervise all aspects of civil construction projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations. Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and company policies. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among team members. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are a plus.
