About Swell:
Swell is on a mission to improve mental health support for military families. We envision a world of healthier happier kinder and more mentally resilient people and we re making this possible through our fullcircle mental health platform.
Last year we launched our telehealth therapy app intended to help military members and spouses access evidencebased mental health therapy whenever they need it covered by Tricare. Our platform combines traditional 1:1 video therapy sessions with a mobile application designed to enhance s adoption outside of the session and reduce the overall timetobenefit in therapy. Overtime we ll also be building out a selfguided portion of our platform focused on Interventional & Preventative mental healthcare for individuals and couples.
We re a small startup created by a group of therapists social workers military spouses and former service members. We re pionate about improving access and outcomes for the military community and are looking for therapists (full or parttime) to join our team. We re building a distributed team located across several states and leveraging tools to make working remotely work for us. We have a wonderful supportive team that stays connected via slack and video calls. We re looking for someone who can embrace the workfromanywhere lifestyle while participating in a culture of collaboration and inclusivity across our team.
What you ll do here:
- Provide evidencebased therapy via 55minute live video sessions to adult clients.
- Manage a consistent weekly caseload of clients (you choose how many sessions work for your lifestyle)
- Elish and track goals in partnership with each of your clients monitoring outcomes over time.
- ign & review inapp homework (video modules daily journaling checkins etc) tailored for each client.
- Maintain progress notes and participate in quality reviews
About you:
- You have empathy in spades
- You re a fully licensed therapist in the state of TN or KY (LMFT Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LPCMHSP Licensed Professional CounselorMental Health Services Provider)
- You have experience treating individuals with relationship issues trauma PTSD Postpartum Depression Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Depressive disorders
- You work with evidencebased care modalities like CBT DBT EMDR etc
- Your practice is oriented around measurable change in clients lives and usually involves SMART goals and s building
- You believe in challenging yourself and your clients leaning into the discomfort that often accompanies growth
- You have incredible time management ss
- You share Swell s vision and want to be a part of making it a reality
Bonus Points:
- Currently or previously credentialed with TRICARE

Comp Details:
Our compensation plan is on a sliding scale that starts at $45/session and goes up to $60/session plus monthly bonuses. Comp is standardized and based on both level of experience and caseload we ll provide a matrix with the breakdown for applicants.

We re looking for several therapists and are open to folks who are fully licensed with the state of Tennessee and/or Kentucky.
We prefer our therapists to have foundational training in at least one evidencebased therapy modality and traumainformed care knowledge prior to starting at Swell. We re happy to support you in further developing these ss through ongoing training supervision and consultation.

Note: This is a contractor (non W2) position. Moonlighting with a private practice other group is permitted by Swell Health for contractors but youll have to sign a nonrecruiting agreement for Swell clients.
Requirements
- Must already be licensed by a State Board to provide unsupervised mental health therapy (e.g. LPCMHSP LCSW LMFT) in Tennessee or Kentucky
- Must have recent experience providing clinical therapy in an outpatient setting.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection that can support clear video calls.
- Must have a dedicated therapy space that is quiet and private so you can work remotely and provide confidential therapy without distractions.
- Must be able to maintain a consistent schedule to support reliable recurring sessions with clients.
