As a school Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP working in a school setting.
SHC's BUILD Your Future program provides a structured, systematic clinical support and career development program for Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows. SHC's BUILD program offers a professional network and mentorships to help you overcome challenges and roadblocks while developing confidence and direction in your professional growth.
SLP Clinical Fellow Contract Details:
- $41 - $44 per hour
- Options to renew, transition to full-time, or try a new setting at the end of each contract
- Flexible schedules within school bell hours
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Missouri SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- ASHA Certification
- No prior experience is required
