Job Summary:

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, Linux Basics, and RedHat Linux Administration.
- This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that align with our company's objectives.
Required Skills:
- Linux, RedHat Linux Administration, Linux Basics
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong hands-on experience on Linux operating systems, including RedHat 6 7 8 9 and Ubuntu, SUSE, Amazon Linux2, Amazon Linux 2023, CentOS.
- Proficient in Linux command-line interface and shell scripting.
- Working experience in migrating upgrading the Linux operating system major version (e.g. RHEL6 to 9 or RHEL7 to 9)
- In depth knowledge and working experience in Veritas Info scale cluster.
- Hands-on experience in the Pacemaker cluster.
- Experience in Deploying and Managing the Red hat satellite server and Foreman.
- OS Security vulnerability management and patching the Linux systems from satellite or foreman.
- Experience in Ansible, Puppet, Terraform automation tools and Docker container platform.
- Ability to deploy new physical hardware in a datacenter and configure them with redundancy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures and hardening the Linux systems.
- Experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, EFS, EBS, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, Systems manager.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.
- Knowledge of Bee GFS parallel file system and ZFS.
- Experience in High performance computing cluster management.
- Adhere to the SOP, ITIL process and framework.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
