Job Description Join Oracle Health in a rewarding role as a User Assistance Developer, where you can make a meaningful impact on the healthcare experience for clinicians, system administrators, and patients. This position offers the opportunity to create and enhance enterprise and departmental user assistance materials that ensure our customers effectively utilize our solutions. You will be responsible for designing user interface labels, creating user help, developing implementation and configuration documentation, and writing release notes. Your expertise will also guide and support fellow members of the Oracle Health User Assistance team. Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders, including user assistance developers, technical writers, engineering, and product management. Lead discussions with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of user assistance materials. Mentor team members on best practices in user assistance and documentation processes. Participate in large-scale user assistance development projects. Create, publish, and maintain original content while reviewing and providing feedback on peer contributions to identify errors early in the documentation process. Assess engineering projects to determine user assistance material requirements, facilitating expert reviews and collaborating with testing teams. Analyze complex documentation trends and recommend effective approaches for customer-facing documentation. Oversee the user assistance workflow, ensuring the quality of various documentation forms through editing and reviewing. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of user assistance development experience, with a degree in English, Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient project management capabilities. A track record of critical thinking, problem-solving, and thriving in dynamic environments. Enthusiasm for information design and knowledge of contemporary trends and technologies in the field. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and exhibit strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the knowledge management lifecycle for document creation, reviews, and updates. Experience across global teams and creating content for diverse audiences. Proficient in applying industry-standard writing guidelines, such as the Microsoft Style Guide. Working knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web-based coding. Experience with knowledge management and ticketing systems like Confluence and Jira. Expectations: Flexibility to work additional or irregular hours as necessary. Adhere to corporate security policies and comprehend your role in safeguarding company assets. Complete additional responsibilities as assigned. Successfully pass a writing assessment during the interview process. Note: Certain customer-facing roles may require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates. Salary and Benefits: The role has a competitive salary range from $30.29 to $60.63 per hour, or $63,000 to $126,100 per annum, with potential equity eligibility.
