We are seeking a Financial Analyst to play an integral role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and special financial studies. This position will work closely with all company departments to analyze the business, identify, and recommend actions that support company objectives and drive financial results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis support for departments.
  • Prepare detailed annual financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
  • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual versus budget variances.
  • Design and administer key performance metrics.
  • Develop ad hoc reports, special studies, and financial analysis to drive business behavior.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • May in time have direct reports and lead a team.


Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical ability with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Intellectual curiosity and initiative with a willingness to learn and develop new skills and processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare projections.
  • Adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment with developing processes and procedures.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required.
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar software) and intermediate or better proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
  • Understanding of star schema data architecture and dimensional data modeling.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Ideally worked with companies $100million + in revenue
