Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will:
  1. Evaluate operational profitability through sophisticated financial and statistical analysis, providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with Executive Leaders to establish and execute Annual Operating Plans across various departments.
  3. Identify and present opportunities for financial and operational enhancements to the Executive Leadership Team, facilitating implementation strategies.
  4. Develop and maintain key performance indicators and generate comprehensive financial/statistical reports for senior management.
  5. Conduct in-depth financial analyses using statistical models to uncover relationships between variables, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
  6. Transform complex data sets into compelling narratives, utilizing data querying, financial modeling, and effective communication to guide Executive Leadership.
  7. Lead specialized projects and ad-hoc analyses, providing support to fellow analysts as needed.
  8. Engage with key Line of Business leaders to create the Annual Operating Plan and forecast monthly/quarterly outcomes based on market trends and organizational goals.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and share knowledge with team members through various channels.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant business experience, including analytical roles.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An MBA or CPA designation.
  • Proficiency in developing advanced financial models.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience with data querying tools such as Microsoft Query, VBA, Business Objects, and SQL.
  • A solid understanding of financial metrics including NPV, IRR, WACC, ROA, and ROI.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • A strong foundation in accounting principles, including familiarity with balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
