Traveling SuperintendentGpac is pleased to partner with a well-established company in the commercial construction industry to fill the position of Traveling Superintendent. This is an amazing and exciting opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to join an excellent management team and company culture. The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for leading the field operations of commercial construction projects and providing on-site coordination with the client and subcontractors.The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for:Planning, organizing, and directing the construction projectProviding leadership and guidance to the construction teamCreating and managing the construction project budgetEnsuring compliance with all safety regulationsEnsuring compliance with all building code and industry regulationsConducting regular project meetingsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersEssential job functions of the Traveling Superintendent include:Extensive knowledge of commercial construction techniquesSelf-motivation and confidence to lead on-site teamsAbility to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other industry documentsProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skillsThe ideal Traveling Superintendent will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Salary for this position is competitive and will range from $105,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
