Job TitleThe Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe secure and pleasant environment for the dealership employees and customers in accordance with company policies.Essential FunctionsEnforces rules and regulations to provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors in accordance with company policiesEnforce no-smoking policiesEnforces employee parking policiesArranges for the removal of vehicles that are illegally parked or have been abandoned on dealership propertyEnsure that there are all individuals company premises have legal right to be thereAssists in the removal of individuals as required.Investigate any wrong doings such as theft, misconduct and vandalism at the direction of Supervisor and involves local authorities in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and company policiesResponsible for complex keysPatrol, document, report and follow-up on safety and security hazards or infractionsReports all hazards and incidents promptly to management.Serve as first responder for any security issuesRespond to any Emergency Responses situation on dealership premisesCoordinate hours and coverage of security staff through security vendorServe as back-up to safety coordinator for facilityMaintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policiesComplies with all laws and regulations pertaining to working with hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediatelyFollows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standardsFollows the Company Code of Business Ethics and ConductUnderstands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from SupervisorsUpholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreementsMaintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policyAttends pertinent training on requestAttends company meetings as requiredOther duties as assignedPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
