Director of Program Operations

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for an Director of Program Operations for a property managment company located in Renton, WA. This position will oversee the organization’s daily operations of the HCV programs and will help them manage their growth. This person will oversee a team of operations specialists and will be responsible for the overall program efficiency to include performance management, document control and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
Responsibilities include:
- Create and evaluate the company's everyday business systems with focus on process improvement, increased efficiency and compliance
- Drive daily operations processes and monitor ongoing analysis of HCV programs in accordance with federal, state and local rules and regulations
- Mentor, coach and manage a team of operational specialists
- Train and guide employees on best practices and encourage maximum performance and ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure quality of work and program success from all business operations across departments and help company execute on growth objectives
- Prepare and manage comprehensive reports
- Ensure compliance of policies and procedures and assist with audits
- Build effective and collaborative working relationship throughout the organization
- Improves operational performance by integrating initiatives that simplify process and drive out complexity
- Work closely with executive leadership on budgetary compliance goals
Ideal qualifications for a successful candidate:
- 8 plus years of operations and program management experience
- 5 plus years experience managment a team
- Must have working knowledge of LIHTC, HCV and PBV program compliance
- Experince with HUD/PHA regulations highly desired
- Successful experience developing and managing operational processes and procedures and ability to drive program efficiencies
- Resourceful individual with proven ability to partner effectively with all levels of an organization
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to adapt in an evolving environment
- Strong business acumen including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking and analysis
