Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)

Duration: 5+ months (possibility of extension)

Minimum Required Education:

Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree.

Degree Equivalency:

4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree

Minimum Required Work Experience:

4 years-of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.

Day to Day:

• We are looking for a self-starter and team player.

• The main software used in this position is COBOL (Mainframe, Micro Focus), CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, IBM Batch JCL, Easytrieve, APS Code Generator, Vendor Pricing Software, MS Office, and EDz vendor product for APS on non-host.

• The position works closely with the team lead on direction and job assignment.

• The position has on-call responsibilities in addition to the day-to-day responsibilities.
