IT Support Specialist

Position Overview:

Provide first-line support for in-house and remote staff by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, and assisting with IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve computer, server, and network issues.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and related tasks.
  • Log and document resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Review, evaluate, and route incoming service desk requests.
  • Manage and track service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform software upgrades and install new hardware with authorization.
  • Support upgrades and maintenance for various devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
  • Coordinate equipment loans and shipments to remote sites.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures for MIS operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of IT experience in AD, networking, and desktop support.
  • Proficient in desktop/server operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Advanced knowledge of WAN/LAN and laptop/desktop hardware.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and later environments.
