Our customer, is an Industrial Services organization based in Farmington Hills, MI. They are seeking an experienced Lead Recruiter to oversee their talent acquisition efforts for all hiring including plant hourly and professional employees at their corporate and customer sites.  The Lead Recruiter will be responsible for creating and executing recruitment strategies, managing recruitment processes and recruiting team, and providing guidance and support to hiring teams.


Duties and Responsibilities

·      Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner.

·      Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

·      Supervise the recruiting team.

·      Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.

·      Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks, providing feedback to applicants.

·      Develop job postings and manage job boards.

·      Recommend ways to improve our employer brand/manage careers website.

·      Monitor recruitment performance metrics and provide regular updates to the team.

·      Participate in recruitment-related events, such as job fairs, to promote the company.

·      Maintain accurate records and documentation of hiring processes.


Requirements and Qualifications

·      A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.

·      5+ years of recruiting and leading a recruiting team.

·      Experience using Paycor Recruiting is a plus.

·      Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems and other recruitment-related software.

·      Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·      Strong leadership and team management skills.

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·      Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

·      Knowledge of social media and professional networks.

·      Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

·      Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
