LHH Recruitment Solutions (formerly Ajilon) is seeking BILINGUAL Manufacturing Plant Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position. This US-owned manufacturing company with multiple plants is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead their facility in Mexico. In this leadership role, the Plant Manager is responsible for executing and coordinating plans for the manufacturing processes of materials as well as providing support to their team. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $120-140k (plus bonus) per year which includes comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficient production and on-time delivery.
  • Manage and evaluate the P&L, margins, EBITDA, material costs, and other financial metrics.
  • Assess and improve processes, systems, and team performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve production KPIs.
  • Lead large manufacturing teams and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and fill necessary roles, potentially replacing existing team members to enhance performance.
  • Utilize ERP systems and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) to optimize operations.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of plant management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong P&L management experience, with a deep understanding of financial metrics.
  • Experience in wire harness manufacturing is highly preferred, but candidates from the electrical industry, HVAC, trucks, buses, marine, medical, and automotive industries will also be considered.
  • Proven problem-solver with a history of improving on-time delivery and achieving production KPIs.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be BILINGUAL in Spanish & English (without translation apps/services)
  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred but not required with applicable years of experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a management role where you were held accountable for leadership training, KPIs, performance development
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or automotive manufacturing environment
  • Production leadership experience with multiple lines is required
  • Experience working with Continuous Improvement methods
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is a plus
