Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including production systems, quality control data, supply chain metrics, and other manufacturing-related data.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop, maintain, and automate regular reports and dashboards that clearly communicate key metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in the manufacturing process, providing data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
  • Predictive Analytics: Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to predict outcomes, optimize production schedules, and minimize downtime.
  • Data Quality Management: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by implementing and maintaining data governance standards and practices.
  • Support Decision-Making: Provide analytical support to management and operational teams to aid in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain documentation of data processes, analysis methodologies, and report generation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decisions based on data-driven insights.
