GBS STP Data Analyst - Decatur, IL

About the Role: The GBS S2P Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven insights to optimize GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations within the GBS NA S2P team. You will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to supplier performance, procurement processes, and system efficiency. Your insights will be crucial in supporting strategic decision-making and operational improvements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in S2P processes, and a passion for leveraging data to drive performance.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to S2P processes, including supplier management, procurement cycles, and invoice processing. Provide actionable insights and trends to support process optimization.
  • Dashboard Creation & Maintenance: Design and maintain dynamic dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for the S2P process. Ensure data visualization provides clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements based on data analysis. Continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize supplier and procurement performance.
  • Collaborate with IT & S2P Teams: Work closely with IT, procurement, and supplier enablement teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems (e.g., Coupa, ERP).
  • Present Data Insights: Prepare clear and concise presentations of data-driven findings for leadership teams and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Data Accuracy & Integrity: Ensure that all data used for analysis and reporting is accurate, complete, and consistent across multiple platforms and systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within procurement or supplier management.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with S2P processes, supplier performance analysis, and procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to work with large datasets, interpret data trends, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working within a Global Business Services (GBS) environment is a plus.
