Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will take the lead in ensuring the successful management of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong leadership to the team, aligning project goals, objectives, and client expectations.
  • Efficiently coordinating project requirements and fostering collaboration with other disciplines involved in the projects.
  • Reviewing all reporting systems and procedures and preparing comprehensive reports for clients and senior management to track progress and costs.
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
  • Collaborating with the Construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects adhere to established safety goals.
  • Building robust relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation throughout the project, including RFI logs and change orders.


The Ideal Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of construction experience, with a specific focus on Federal/Government projects.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software commonly employed in the construction industry; experience with Procore is advantageous.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as this role will involve client interaction and communication with subcontractors and owners.
  • A working knowledge of construction technology and details.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and comprehending all construction-related documents, including specifications and drawings.
